Created and ran the EEB Spring Symposium Art Contest from 2020-2024. The contest integrated art and science while encouraging participation in our research symposium. The contest displayed photography and creative artwork from Iowa State's EEB Department during our annual graduate symposium.

Below is a virtual walkthrough of our in-person art display for our virtual 2021 EEB Symposium.

Created STEM-focused lessons in 2024 integrated with art for underserved elementary-aged girls. Lessons included crafting pollinators that could pick up "pollen" from different floral shapes and collecting plant-pollinator interaction data through a throwing game and building a pollinator network.

A public event organized by Toth lab and Reiman Garden’s at Iowa State University to celebrate and inform attendees about pollinator research. Additionally, boy- and girl-scout groups use the event to award their insect badge. In 2019-2022 I created educational materials for the public illustrating bee and wasp diversity and worker labor division in honey bee colonies.
